That reality might have a little to do with the reality that it was not something I was ever terribly interested in. Combine that with my substandard observation of distinctive landmarks and I was truly a bad driver. Literally, I got lost at least once, if not two times per week prior to getting into the new world of electronic navigation. Though I can’t promise that you will enjoy the GPS device the same amount that I love mine (all systems are not created equal), I can pretty much bet that your driving, specifically on extended road trips, would go much more smoothly than if you didn’t own one.
